Validation Error when using server based integration for crm 2016 + sharepointonline + onedrive for business

I have an on premise 2016 CRM and I am setup with AD FS and IFD. Everything works perfect. I am trying to setup Onedrive for Business. In order for it to work, I have to setup server based integration with Sharepoint Online. I am a local admin, O365 Admin and AD admin. I have ran all the powershell scripts from  with no errors. I am using FQDN and SSL, not self signed. Followed everything to the T.

I receive the following error when connecting to validate.




			<exception>At least 1 Claim must not be NULL, current claims are : smtp= </exception>




I have validated all of my credentials and I can connect fine if I used the list component (depreciated). I do not have the list component installed and stated in the technical documentation. Anyone?…/dn946906.aspx
