Auto numbering skips values – Microsoft Dynamics CRM Forum Community Forum

Hello All,

I am using Auto Number Manager by Jonas Rapp from XrmToolBox to populate my “Complaint Number” field as I did not want to use the OOTB field “Case Number”.

I am facing a problem that suddenly both number skip the same number of values as the following screenshot:

As you can see it was working fine until it jumped from 108 to 155 (47 values in 10 minutes) then from 155 to 205 (50 values in 4 minutes) and this behavior occurred again several times.


Can anybody help me find the reason for this issue and how can I use the skipped values without case number repetition?
